CAMPING ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR FALL 2021
CuboRee1
2021 Cub Scout Cub-O-Rees

Over a few different weekends this fall, Cub-O-Ree events will be held throughout the council. Packs have the option of attending the one that is closest to them or has a date that suits them best. The exact schedule for the Cub-O-Rees will be announced at the Program Kickoff being held June, 3, 2021.

Cub-O-Ree is an overnight camping experience designed to give both new and existing Cub Scouts an exciting adventure at the start of the new school year! While at the event, Scouts will get a taste of what Cub Scouting offers through camping, shooting sports, games, crafts, campfires, and spending quality time with their family! Registration for each location will open later this spring.
2021 Scouts BSA Camporees

On the weekend of October 8-10, 2021, the Dan Beard Council will be conducting 3 Council Camporees. Each location will offer similar programming, while capitalizing on the unique program opportunities available at each location. Troops can choose to attend the location that is most convenient for them and still get the same exciting activities as everyone else. The camporee sites will be Camp Friedlander, Camp Michaels, and the Miami Whitewater Forest in Harrison. By offering three smaller, but similar, events we can ensure adequate space for every troop this year. Registration for each location will open later this spring. An announcement will be made in advance of the registration opening so troops can determine the location that best fits their needs.
