NLCUP NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Help us welcome the new board members of NLCUP!

JUNE 2023- The National Association of Latino Credit Unions and Professionals is pleased to announce the election of our four new members to its board of directors: Vanessa Kuduk, Leslie Jenkins, and Lydia Lozano along with our first honorary board member, Kenia Calderon Ceron.

They join a group of leaders who’ve been serving on our current board https://www.nlcup.org/leadership who have played an instrumental role in the development of our association. “We welcome this group of talented and well recognized executives to our board of directors” said Maria Martinez, chair of the board and CEO of Border FCU. We look forward to working with them to continue to advance our organization’s mission to support and expand Latinx leadership within the credit union industry.”


As NLCUP’s new board members, they will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction and driving the mission of the organization. Their election brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion that will be instrumental in advancing our objectives and fostering the success of our members. NLCUP firmly believe that diversity, inclusion, and representation are essential in building a strong and vibrant industry. Their addition to the board will bring a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by Latinx professionals within credit unions. Their insights and leadership will help us create impactful initiatives, programs, and resources that empower our members and promote their professional growth.

I feel confident that the new people joining our board will help me take NLCUP to levels it has not reached before” said our Executive director, Barbara Mojica. 


NLCUP is dedicated to providing financial education and services for the Hispanic/Latinx community as well as to increase economic, asset-building, and professional development opportunities for Latinx credit union professionals.
