Call for Board Member Nominations!

Looking to have a say in the League's short and long term strategic planning? Or get involved in advocacy efforts for theatres at the local and state level? Or impact the services and programs the League provides to our theatre members, industry, and community?

The League of Chicago Theatres is now accepting nominations to fill upcoming vacancies on our Board of Directors for 2025 and beyond.

If you would like to nominate someone from our industry or be considered for League board membership yourself, please submit THIS FORM with your interest and qualifications.

Nominations are due by Sunday, December 15, 2024.

LAST CHANCE to Submit Your CTW25 Shows!

The 13th annual Chicago Theatre Week will take place Thursday, February 6 – Sunday, February 16, 2025. This community-wide effort celebrates the rich tradition of theatre-going in Chicago and seeks to bring new audiences into your theatres.

The Show Submission Form and Promotional Commitment Form are now live and we invite you to submit your CTW shows! Please submit the Show Submission Form before Friday, November 22, 2024. The Promotional Commitment Form should be completed by Friday, December 6, 2024.

Definition Theatre Designer Open House

Definition is excited to welcome designers to connect with our team and explore future opportunities. Whether your expertise is in scenic, costume, lighting, projections, sound, or another area of theater design, we’d love to learn more about your work and share what’s ahead for our productions.

When: Friday, November 22 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Where: Definition @ 55th, 1160 E 55th St.

This is a drop-in event, so attendees can stop by as their schedule allows. Designers are encouraged to bring their resumes, creativity, and passion for theater—let’s build something extraordinary together!
