PEER ENGAGEMENT

Early Career Dublin: Meeting the ESG Skills Gap

Demand from regulators and clients regarding the delivery and reporting for ESG financial products is on the rise. This has triggered a surge in career opportunities for professionals with ESG skills, at a pace where demand for talent exceeds supply.

Financial services firms must design, deliver and disclose ESG data to their clients and regulators. They face a real risk of:

  • failing to comply with the resource-heavy requirements of meeting new regulation
  • being non-competitive with their industry peers
  • greenwashing or making false or misleading statements about their ESG activities

Gain insights from panelists who have trained to serve in an ESG-related role. Consider whether it would be worthwhile for you to cultivate ESG skills and how you may master them.

Share your perspective with your colleagues prior to the event over coffee and pastries.

You are encouraged to invite your peers and colleagues with up to ten years of experience in the financial services industry to attend, learn more about 100WF and become members of the organization.
