For the past 10 years, Betty Emamian has served as a Board Member and the Director of Communications  for NYC's annual Nowruz NY Persian Parade. In her role and with other board members, Betty Emamian has been responsible for making the "Parade"  a leading cultural event in New York City, which grew in attendance from under 50,000 to 160,000.  Betty Emamian has been instrumental in expanding awareness of the organization through grass roots efforts, cold calling campaigns, increased media coverage by NBC, The Wall Street Journal, The Daily News and private donations and fundraising.

Northern California

Shanna Nasiri has been the Managing Director of her family's foundation, Nasiri Foundation, since its inception in 2013. Shanna also works as an Impact Consultant with social enterprises and nonprofits that are looking to enhance their business models and impact thesis. Early in her career, Shanna gained experience in market research, data analysis, and marketing while working at technology companies, Qualcomm and InvenSense. Shanna holds a Master of Science in Social Enterprise from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the University of San Diego.

The Honorable Tamila Ebrahimi Ipema received her Bachelor's Degree from Damavand College in Iran. She received her Master's  & J.D. degrees from University of Louisville in Kentucky. She also has a LL.M. Degree in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University School of Law. She has served as a judicial officer for nearly 12 years. She has family, criminal, and civil experience. She has worked as an immigration defense attorney, Assistant District Counsel with the U.S. Department of Justice in immigration matters for DHS; as a judicial research attorney, & supervising research attorney for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
