Complete the volunteer application, which includes a background check paid for by Shakopee Public Schools.

Step 2: Select “Business Partner” under Affiliation

Step 3: Choose Shakopee High School

Step 4: Choose “Business Partner”

2) Job Description

Create a job description that will be used by students to apply for the internship and serve as a learning plan throughout the 8-week internship. Job descriptions (template) are due from businesses by November 4th.

3) Applications

Students will apply by emailing you a resume and cover letter in mid to late November.

4) Interviews & Offers

You choose which candidates you want to interview; interviews will take place in December. After interviews, you select the student who is the best fit for the position. Practice interviews for students will take place on Friday, November 18th.
