Active Transportation Projects Approved

The SBCTA Board of Directors, at their January 4, 2023 meeting, approved a list of various projects countywide for submittal to the State Active Transportation Program (ATP) cycle 6. The State ATP was created in 2013 to support a variety of non-vehicle transportation projects. Eligible pedestrian and bicycle projects include safe routes to schools, trails, sidewalks, bike lanes and mobility planning.

Housing Trust Ad Hoc Committee

As a result of the December Metro Valley Study Session, the SBCTA Board of Directors approved the establishment of a Housing Trust Ad Hoc Committee. The Ad Hoc Committee will consist of seven Board members that will be appointed by SBCTA Board President, Art Bishop. The goal of the Ad Hoc Committee is to take a broad look into the formation of a San Bernardino County based housing trust, evaluate considerations for its structure, and discuss its relationship with the San Bernardino Council of Governments.
