CARPE DIEM!

Carpe Diem or “Seize the Day” is phrase that I first heard when I watched one of my favorite movies with Robin Williams—Dead Poets Society. In the movie, he instructs his students to “seize the day” to accomplish what they can today because they may not have a tomorrow. I have incorporated this statement into my own professional life to guide me in my decisions about my practice. As I have frequently said, you must be prepared when the opportunity comes for it may not wait for you to be “ready.”... click here for the rest of the article.

Congratulations to the 320
Cohort 2 Pharmacies that will Successfully Complete the Flip the Pharmacy Program
at the End of this Month!
The past two years have been anything but ordinary and these Cohort 2 pharmacies have been extraordinary in their practices transformation efforts! The Flip the Pharmacy Coordinating Center applauds the pharmacy staff within each of these pharmacies for all of the advancements that have been made over the last two years. These pharmacies have been able to submit eCare Plans, with meaningful data around A1c, blood pressure, and more, while responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and immunizing, administering monoclonal antibodies, and dispensing oral antiviral therapeutics to people in their communities. Outstanding!

Flip the Pharmacy Initiative in Numbers
eCare Plans Submitted: 2,762,669
Blood Pressure Measurements Reported: 161,958
