"Why is it important to create daily habits for everyday living? Many patient's main goal is to get back to doing their favorite activity or just to be independent. There are a couple of things you can do to help keep you active. Stretching, physical activity, and hydration are three things you can incorporate into your daily routine that will help you improve your overall health and mobility.
First, adding stretching to your daily routine will improve your flexibility and reduce body aches. Stretching will improve flexibility, which will help you to perform everyday activities with ease. Stretching specific muscle groups can reduce pain and encourage proper alignment.
Being physically active can help keep you moving and improve your health over time. You can help prolong your independence/mobility by incorporating 20 to 30 minutes of walking or by adding any type of physical activity to your daily routine. Exercising can help improve balance, help with arthritis, and improve your strength and endurance.
Water is a critical element of the human body with up to 60% of the body's composition. Staying hydrated is essential for the normal function of our bodies and can help improve exercise performance, mental clarity, and memory."
