Welcome Nikia Parker: The LCAC Summer Intern

Hi! My name is Nikia Parker, the Marketing Digital Infrastructure Intern from CU Denver. During this term, I will assist the Team with digital content that promotes the positive impact that LCAC is making in Denver.

Much of the fulfillment in my life is a direct result of access to programs like, Viva Southwest, exhibitions and canvassing. My former high school’s concurrent enrollment program at Collegiate Prep Academy and Montebello inspired me to enter the Communication Design field. My experience includes working collaboratively with staff at the Center for Visual Art and Open Answer to use art and social justice to build bridges.

Fun Fact: One thing I wouldn’t be able to live without is Oolong tea!
