Jordan ATP Students Gain New Kitchen Skills

Students in the Adult Transition Program at Jordan had a great week learning daily living skills in the ATP Kitchen. Students purchased their ingredients from the store, learned about kitchen tools and safety, and used their recipe to make cinnamon rolls and frosting!

GGUSD Students Sharpen Their Leadership Skills

High school students represented the district last weekend at the Youth Leadership Summit & Expo held at the Anaheim Convention Center. The event was organized by Youth Leadership America and provided high school students and parents with a variety of workshops on leadership as well as a keynote address from Olympic gold medalist Carmelita Jeter.

Los Amigos Students Gear Up for Football

GGUSD Sixth Graders Engage in Mentorship Program

Superintendent Gabriela Mafi visited elementary schools this week to kick off the district's College and Career Mentoring Program which pairs sixth graders with GGUSD grads who are currently attending college. GGUSD alumni return to the schools they attended as children to mentor students in areas like scholarly habits, growth mindset and motivation. The Stanley Tigers gave Dr. Mafi a warm welcome and enjoyed hearing her story and motivational presentation.

Crosby Students Enjoy Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program

Crosby Elementary students enjoy white nectarines as part of the school's Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.

Clinton Corner Students Get Creative

Clinton Corner has expanded its preschool program welcoming more 3-year-olds than ever before. Our early learners are already off to a great start and enjoy getting creative with art.
