Phoenix Physical Therapy Celebrates Official Opening
Phoenix Physical Therapy opened its doors in Smithfield Shopping Plaza just prior to the pandemic and mandated shut down. On July 22, 2021, the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to officially celebrate and welcome the business to Smithfield and the County. The ribbon cutting was followed by the first Chamber After Hours networking event of the year, which Phoenix hosted.
Phoenix Physical Therapy is a national company with ten locations in Virginia that helps its patients Recover, Recharge and Rise though physical and occupational therapy, athletic training and massage therapy services.

Virtual Supply Chain Match-Up Event
The Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA) is committed to expanding supply chain opportunities among Virginia companies. This includes reaching small businesses, as well as women, minority and veteran-owned businesses. To honor this commitment in 2021, they will host a virtual supply chain match-up event on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 10th & 11th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Industry participants will be conducting supplier interviews for products and services. Interviews will be scheduled for 10-minute sessions that will continually occur during the 2-hour event window. Once registered for the event, companies will be sent a list of participants. You choose the company that you would like to meet with. The meeting facilitator will rotate you to the appropriate virtual breakout room to begin your interview. When your session is over, you will be moved to the next meeting.
All online registrations must be submitted by 12:00 P.M. on August 5, 2021.
