Consider Being A Greeter, Usher, Or Coffee Hour Host! Sign Up Online!

Greeters welcome members of the congregation and visitors as they arrive for the service, introduce newcomers to members of the congregation, and provide support as needed.

Ushers distribute service bulletins, count attendance, pass the collection plates, bring the collection plates and elements forward, assist with communion, and tidy the pews.

Coffee Hour Hosts can be ministries, families, or individuals! This is a great opportunity for ministries to highlight what they do and distribute information about upcoming events.

Consider Joining the Acolyte Ministry

Youth in grades 7th through 12th are invited to serve in the Acolyte Ministry. Acolytes perform an important role supporting the clergy in a variety of tasks during worship. Learn more.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The FACETS team welcomes new team members to help with delivery of hot meals. On the 2nd Sunday of each month, a group of Holy Comforter volunteers makes hot meals in the church kitchen that get distributed to community members in need at two locations in Fairfax City. The time commitment is about an hour and a half, and you can decide whether to volunteer for one month or more. This is a great opportunity to give back and interact with community members who receive the meals. Interested? Please contact Laura Gori or sign up online HERE. If you are interested in volunteering sometime but don't want to sign up in advance, please email Laura, and she'll contact you when an extra driver is needed. Thank you!

ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO PLEDGE! Giving financially is one way we make our faith real. When we give back some of what we have, and join it with others’ gifts, a tangible sense of having more than we expected happens. Please make a pledge HERE!
