Classes Began 1/15!
We are once again hosting a 6-week class program for students! Students select a class they would like to attend, and with their peers get to dive into the questions and contents alongside an adult leader. See below for a description of each class:
♦ Can I Ask That? is an open and engaging class where you, the student, get to ask the questions. Whatever you’ve been curious about faith, but might not be sure if you can ask it, this is the class to do so! Each week you will tackle questions together, looking to the Bible, scholars, and other professionals to help you answer the questions you may have.
♦ Bible Journaling is a creative class that invites you to explore your faith through art and reflection. In this class, we will learn techniques for journaling our thoughts, prayers, and insights directly in our Bibles, using various artistic elements like drawing, painting, and lettering. Each session will include scripture readings, guided discussions, and time for personal expression, helping us deepen our connection to the Word and cultivate a personal faith journey. Join us to inspire your creativity and grow spiritually in a fun and supportive atmosphere!
♦ Creation Care “What if we get it right? Finding Resurrection in climate solutions” In this class we’ll discuss where we find hope and purpose in stories of climate solution success from experts across several disciplines- scientists, social workers, farmers, financiers and more. Throughout our weeks together we will discuss how to care for our environment, what the Bible tells us about it, and learn how we have a voice and are able to help.
♦ Game Gurus is a game-based leadership class. This class will include playing games to build relationships and leadership skills. Every other week you will be tasked with the opportunity to create your own games and teach them to the children’s ministry. This class will be full of fun, creativity, and opportunity!
