Beginner's Yoga 6-Week Series
This series is designed for those who are new to yoga, or looking for a refresher. You will learn yoga poses commonly taught in Hatha and Vinyasa classes, including standing poses, mild backbends, supine stretches and basic flows. It is an active class, so it is most appropriate for people who can get down on the ground and back up with confidence. You will learn how to use props to support your body, as well as simple pranayama, meditation and yogic philosophy.
Class meets Sundays, 4-5:15pm starting January 8th in the Rec Room

Focused Flow: Better Balance
In this 6-week series, we explore movements and techniques to help you improve your ability to balance! This is a flow class, which means Sun Salutations will be woven throughout the calls, and is best suited for students who can easily get up and down from the floor, as well as bear weight on their hands/wrists.
Class meets Saturdays, 8:30-9:30am starting January 7th in the Rec Room
