Around Campus
Early Learners Celebrate Read Across America
It’s Seuss week in the Early Learners classroom! Early Learners celebrate this week in correlation with Read Across America Day, which is Dr. Seuss' (and Mrs. Michaliszyn's) birthday on March 2nd each year. Their studies include spotlighting a few of Dr. Seuss’s iconic stories. Students and teachers alike love to take this opportunity to explore the rhyming patterns, characters, and Seuss-ish words that come along with these imaginative books.

Check out the fun and silly socks Early Learners wore for their exploration of one of Mrs. Kimmons' favorites, Fox in Socks!

Don't forget to join us at the Pat Jones YMCA this Saturday for the 11th Annual Seuss Science Day! This is a free event for families, and our very own Mrs. Michaliszyn will be there at 10am for a special storytime of Green Eggs and Ham.

Check out the video below for a silly, fun storytime rap to get you in the Seussy spirit!
