New Look for AggieExpense Homepage

Beginning soon, visitors to AggieExpense will notice a new look and feel to the system's homepage.

Concur -- the platform behind the AggieExpense system -- began giving users the option to switch to the new homepage last fall. In the coming weeks all users will see the new homepage. The redesign does not include any functionality changes; it is only an update to how the homepage looks. This includes a more intuitive design and user-friendly navigation.

One-Time Payments Made Easy

A new payment solution, Candex, is coming to UC Davis in the next few weeks. This solution will streamline one-time payments to individuals, specifically research participants and honoraria.

These payments will be requested via the Aggie Enterprise Requisition document, utilizing a catalog option.

The fully-approved Requisition will generate a Purchase Order and an email to the payee with an invitation to register with Candex, where they can enter their banking information and the payment will be electronically deposited into their bank account.

Getting Started Right

in Aggie Enterprise

If you are new to Aggie Enterprise, get started right by correctly setting up your Requisition Preferences.

A common problem new users encounter is the inability to view and access all the Requisition features available to them. This is often the result of failing to change the Requisition Business Unit to "UCD Req Business Unit" in the Edit Requisition Preferences section.

Full instructions on how to get started can be found on the Requisition Preferences Screen Knowledge Base Article (KBA) and the Setting Up Requisition Preferences video.

New Way to Onboard Suppliers Coming Soon

UC Davis will soon have a new way to manage supplier records. PaymentWorks is a web portal where suppliers upload and update their own records, rather than the department entering that data. The record is then fed into Aggie Enterprise. Departments will be able to see the status of the supplier record as it moves through the process.

PaymentWorks will be implemented in March. To get a look at how the process will work, please join us Monday, Feb. 3, from 3 to 4 p.m. for a demo and question-and-answer session. The demo will be recorded and posted to the PaymentWorks webpage at a later date.
