Celebrating Summer with Expanded Services and Award-Winning Care
I hope this update finds you and your loved ones healthy and enjoying the beautiful summer weather in the Pacific Northwest. We made it through the heat wave and we’re looking ahead with hope for a continued return to normalcy this fall.

While we are working toward a 70 percent vaccination rate in our State, I would like to continue encouraging those who have not yet been vaccinated to consider doing so. In the near future, we hope to hear of vaccine distribution for our youngest populations, those six months to 11 years old. The vaccine is safe! There is no better way to protect ourselves and others from the severe effects of COVID-19 than to get vaccinated.
COVID-19 Vaccines: What we know right now
As COVID-19 cases decline due to increasing vaccination rates, many people are looking forward to the return of pre-pandemic norms. However, this return is impossible for some community members until herd immunity is achieved through vaccination.

Eat Fresh and Local for Optimal Health
Amber Phillips, MS, RD
A question I often get as a Registered Dietitian is, “What is the healthiest food?” My response changes constantly because the location where someone lives and the time of year in question both influence the nutritional quality of fresh foods.
Congratulations to Dr. Hogge!
