Statewide Individualized Education Program (IEP) Digital Platform Sentiment Survey

The Texas Education Agency is considering developing or adopting a statewide IEP digital platform for all school districts and charter schools to use. A statewide IEP digital platform means all schools use the same IEP form with the same required content, while the digital platform is the web-based system for schools to manage student IEPs. Please click here to share your opinion. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

Special Education Evaluations

Join us for a free statewide webinar on November 6, 2024, at 12:15 p.m. (CT). We will begin with an introduction to the importance of understanding special education, followed by an overview of the legal framework and rights of parents and students. The session will review the evaluation process, including where to find eligibility criteria, categories of disabilities, and the essential steps involved. A case study will provide real-world context, highlighting a student's journey through the evaluation and emphasizing parent advocacy.
