From the National Weather Service - Fort Worth: There is high confidence in at least measurable snow Wednesday night into Friday. A rain-snow mix is expected, so exact amounts are still uncertain. If temperatures are a few degrees warmer or cooler than currently forecast, final snow accumulations may be lower or higher. Hazardous travel is likely Thursday and Friday, especially on untreated roads. Consider altering any late week travel plans, and keep up with the forecast!

Residents urged to verify information as false story about suspects attacking people spreads online.


The Duncanville Police Department advises residents to be cautious of false information circulating on social media platforms about two suspects allegedly attacking residents.


The post circulating on social media falsely states that two suspects are targeting families in Duncanville by knocking on their doors, saying they are experiencing homelessness and asking for help, according to police.

$39,637.01 - $57,473.67

Salary is dependent upon education and experience.


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of related work experience.


CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires Animal Euthanization and Basic Animal Control Officer Training Certifications. Valid Texas driver’s license. Must be able to pass a background check.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MANAGER


SALARY RANGE

$79,757.46 - $115,648.31


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Development, Urban Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be accepted on a year for year basis. The total qualifying equivalent combination is eight (8) years.

$47,208.32 - $68,452.06


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a High School Diploma or G.E.D.



CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires:

Texas Driver’s License, Class “C”

CJIS compliance training, level III

Able to meet the Police Department’s hiring standards through an extensive background investigation

REMINDER: Place trash, recycling, brush, and bulk debris at the curb/alley no earlier than 12:01 AM and no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days.


No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
