IMPORTANT COMPLIANCE ALERT:
Electronic Delivery of Disclosure Documents
As noted during the 1st quarter Compliance Webinar, we are excited to roll out a Jotform tool that will facilitate electronic delivery and documentation of such delivery of all disclosure documents that you may be required to deliver to prospects, new and existing clients. This delivery tool includes the following disclosure documents and is able to either be emailed to the client or noted as either hand-delivered or mailed to the client by you.
- LFAS/LFCM Form CRS
- LFAS/LFCM Form ADV Part 2A
- Wrap Brochures for the Wealth Management Program, Participant Asset Management Program and ICA Platform Program
- Form ADV brochures for First Trust or Eaton Vance for LFCM sub-advised fixed income accounts
- SBLOC disclosure document *Level Four requirement for all client accounts that engage in SBLOC’s
- Individual representative Form ADV Part 2B supplement
The tool will also generate firm level tracking of delivery of these required disclosure documents so you will no longer need to maintain your own separate log for regulatory purposes.
We have tested and made adjustments to the tool internally for several weeks, but are rolling out to you in order to provide you an opportunity to “test” before formally rolling out and making effective for universal use as of May 17, 2021. Please take this time to test the form by noting your own address as a “client address” in order to view what will be received by clients. A copy of what you have electronically input will also be sent to your own representative email address (as prompted by the form).
The tool/form is available at the following link and linked in the Dropbox Disclosure Brochures Folder:
We hope that you find this to be an efficient way to distribute and document delivery of these important regulatory and firm disclosure documents.
Please direct any comments or questions regarding this new tool to either Jill Zacha, CCO/Corporate Counsel ([email protected]) or Kimberly Miller, Compliance Director, Risk and Regulatory ([email protected]).
