SEPTEMBER 2022

A Message From Michelle

September is a time of transition; one of those spaces when you can feel the arms of Summer wanting to hold on to the last moments of ‘Sun and Fun’. If you close your eyes for a moment, you can almost hear the waves crashing, the seagulls calling and the children laughing as they race along the shoreline. (Go ahead, close your eyes…you know you want to!)

…And in an instant, those same sounds have been replaced with the sounds of Fall approaching. Instead of seagulls on the Beach, we hear the Geese beginning to make their migratory moves South. The sights of children on the beach have been replaced with the sights of those same children donning backpacks and climbing onto school busses heading back to classrooms where they will be welcomed by their new teachers. The days’ light is noticeably shorter and we realize that Fall is waiting just around the corner to welcome us in all her Glory!

I mention all of this only to remind myself to be grateful for these moments when Nature and Life intersect. When the times of life transitions are so closely intertwined into those we see all around us if we only slow down and pause for a moment. Each Season brings her own Beauty; as does each Season of Life; and we should recognize and honor each one as the transitions flow from one to the next.

If you’re familiar with my Messages, you probably realize I write them from my heart; all usually written in a quiet, dark space at 6:00 am while I drink my morning coffee. The house is quiet now and I am able to go ‘into my head’ and share what is in my heart. They’re personal to me; and I hope they are meaningful to you. I thank you for allowing me the space to share these with you. And so for now, pause and appreciate the ‘Seasons’; not only the ones outside your window, but the ones inside your Life.

Take Care; Be Safe,

Michelle
