VP Beth Lesen
Dear Students,

Happy Fall! I hope the first month of the semester has treated you well. As the seasons change, I’m particularly excited about OUTober Month and other festive seasonal activities. Getting back into the swing of things during a new school year can be tough, so remember to use available resources and go easy on yourself - It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

It’s been wonderful seeing many of you on campus meeting new folks and reconnecting with old friends. But we also know some of you are still feeling distant from your peers. Please consider attending some of the upcoming in-person and virtual events listed below or joining our many student organizations. They would be delighted to have you participate.

In addition to autumn, midterm exams have also rapidly caught up with us. Don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our support resources if you find yourself struggling academically or personally. We’re all here to help you!

Have questions? Join me for SOAR's virtual brown bag lunch on Oct. 29 from 12-1pm.

Be well and Go Beach!
