All members of the Class of 2023 are required to attend Senior Spirit Day on August 9th from 2pm-7pm. You must notify Mr. Jones directly if you are not able to attend due to a vacation. Seniors will be provided with a meal during the event.

As part of this event, parents/guardians are asked to join their student at 6pm in the school gymnasium for a college meeting presented by the SFD Counselors. Please RSVP here to indicate that you will attend this important meeting.

In order for the counselors to prepare for the upcoming college application season, we are requesting that parents complete this BRAG Sheet. The brag sheet is an opportunity for you to share about the strengths and accomplishments of your student. Your unique perspective is valued and helpful as the counselors write letters of recommendation. Please complete and submit this electronically at your earliest convenience. Hard copies will be available on spirit day if preferred.

Required Summer Reading for all students: Please choose one book to read from your class list. Each work contains a hyperlink to a summary from Goodreads.com to help you in your selection.

Students in an Advanced Placement class are required to complete additional summer assignments. This includes English, World Languages, Science, Computer Science, Math, Art, and Social Studies.

Bosc and Brie is currently looking for a new team member to join the cafeteria crew at SFD! Come join us serving up the best school lunch in town! Hours will be 7:00am until

approximately 1:30pm on school days. Duties include food prep, setting up the service

line, helping with service during lunch times, and other duties in a fast-paced

environment. Money handling experience is a plus. Please inquire by calling or

*All rising seniors are required to submit verification of a second dose of the MCV4 (meningococcal) vaccine prior to the start of their senior year. It is a requirement for all incoming seniors in Ohio. Families can email the verification information to school nurse Kelli Fitzpatrick at fitzpatrick@desales.co, have the pediatrician fax a copy to the school at (614) 265- 3375, or bring in a hard copy.
