301 Faith Partners - Announcements

Doing more together!

Mary of Magdala, ECC participated last year in a LuMin sponsored program. This program addresses both food and housing insecurity. These are CSU students usually in their senior year who were either in a toxic living situation or were not able to afford housing to finish their degree.

We participated in the program by providing dinner along with other faith communities once a week. This semester we will provide dinners for 20 on Thursdays with volunteers needed beginning September 13. This is a coordinated event with multiple people helping on each Tuesday. (Changed from Thursday)

Please email Lisa Jones at lpjones99@yahoo.com for questions or to volunteer.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!

Have you considered being a volunteer?

A couple of great opportunities for volunteers with Habitat?

  1. Build Day on Saturday, Sept 17 -- First and foremost we need 2 more individuals for our planned 'Build Day' on Saturday, Sept 17. No experience is necessary, just a desire to contribute time and energy. Contact Len Russ via this email.
  2. Also needed are volunteers to prepare and serve lunch to the crew. Contact Steph Dugger at this email.
  3. Volunteer at the Habitat Re-Store -- Open to adults and children 14-and-older, with a parent; see their website.
  4. Bird House Builders  -- that's right! We need volunteers to help with building birdhouses. Email Jerry Freier for more information.
  5. And as always, requesting prayer to bless the efforts made to provide housing for those in need.

Help us welcome our neighbors for an evening of food and fun - and enjoy the evening, too!

Join us on September 23, 6-8pm for a Neighborhood Oktoberfest

A 301 Faith Partners Hosted Event

Come and enjoy burgers, dogs & dessert from FoCo food trucks, live bluegrass music by Jerusalem Road, a bounce-house & other lawn games. Bring your own lawn chairs, cooler with beverages & enjoy a fun Friday evening

with friends and neighbors!

For those who can volunteer, please let us know.
