New Salary Schedules for 2021-2022 |
The Board of Education approved salary schedules and step advancements for the 2021-2022 school year. These will go into effect July 1, 2021.

The Board of Education Makes Masking Voluntary |
Effective immediately, masks will no longer be required in the Joplin School District, pre-K-Adult, regardless of vaccination status.

Certified Staff - Check your certification status! |
Teachers, Principals, and all others that have certification with DESE, please check the status of your certification HERE.
Certification impacts funding that the District receives. If you are not appropriately certified, we will lose funding!
If your certification is expired, or will expire soon, please review the processes outlined on DESE's website HERE. |

Horizontal Movement Reminder |
Teachers, have you completed additional graduate-level coursework? If so, you may be eligible to move horizontally on the Teacher's Salary Schedule.
If you've completed enough credits or a new degree, complete the following 2-step process to request horizontal movement on the salary schedule for 2021-2022.
- Complete the Request for Horizontal Movement form in TalentEd.
- Send official transcripts that confirm the hours/degree to HR.
If approved, this will be applied to the first paycheck for 2021-2022 in September.
