August in the Sebastian River Area (SRA) is notoriously hot, and humid. There is only one thing to do besides hide in air conditioning...grab your swimsuit and head to the water! The SRA Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting its annual Grill Out Night event which encourages everyone to Shop Local. Head over to the Pelican Porch Visitor's Center to pick up a map of participating businesses who will be opening their doors after hours and grilling sweet and sunny citrus dishes to give away as well as other fun freebees and games.
General registration opens August 1st! Volunteers are welcome to register for the 37th Annual International Coastal Cleanup taking place at several locations across Indian River County. We are looking for boaters, paddlers, and walkers to remove litter pollution from our shorelines and waterways. Your help is essential to ensure our wildlife stays safe and our unique and beautiful environment is pristine. Click below for more information and to register.
The mission of Keep Indian River Beautiful (KIRB) is to enhance our community environment by uplifting residents, beautifying neighborhoods and promoting sustainability.
