May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Last week, for #MentalHealthAwaresnessMonth, our Sisterhood group got together to learn about the importance of mental health and its connection to relationship violence from our Clinical and Outreach Supervisor, Claudia Flores, LCSW. They also had the opportunity to gather basic-care items for families in our shelter and residential programs. Learn more and mark your calendars for our August Sisterhood event by clicking here!

Mental health & well-being is a vital part of overall health and during Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage others to join the national movement to raise awareness, fight stigma, provide support and advocate for policies supporting people navigating mental illness.

Together we can realize a shared vision where families and communities receive quality support and care to live healthy, fulfilling lives.
