Happy October - autumn has arrived! As the leaves begin to change and the morning air turns cool and crisp, warm up in the heart of Boulder when you shop and dine locally - our love for the locals extends year-round!


Today marks the final Wednesday of the Boulder County Farmers Market season. Head to 13th Street (between Arapahoe Ave & Canyon Blvd) this evening from 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM to enjoy your favorite mid-week pick-me-up one more time this year! Can't make it this evening? Catch the Saturday markets happening weekly from 8 AM - 2 PM (through November 23rd).


Legend has it that every Halloween, downtown Boulder is invaded by mini ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheroes and spooky creatures galore in search of sweet treats at the annual Munchkin Masquerade (happening Thursday, October 31st from 3 PM - 6 PM)! Are you a local business interested in booth space for the event? This is your chance to get in front of A LOT of Boulder County families. Register to be an exhibitor today (registration closes Monday, October 7th).

This week, Condé Nast Traveler released their 2024 Readers' Choice Awards listing our own St Julien Hotel & Spa as #7 in their prestigious list of the Top 15 Hotels in Colorado. Sending a heartfelt congratulations to the incredible team at St Julien on their gold-standard hospitality!

Pearl Street Stampedes: October Dates

Friday, October 11th & Friday, October 25th

Mark your calendars...it's time to celebrate our Buffs at not one, but two, Pearl Street Stampedes this month! Friday, October 11th and Friday, October 25th*, meet us on the 1300 block of the Pearl Street Mall at 7 PM for lively performances and special appearances from members of CU Athletics, CU Spirit, the Golden Buffalo Marching Band and CU Mascot, Chip! You know the drill...the parade, led by Stephen Tebo's vintage 1948 fire truck, moves west and stops to perform block-by-block - SKO BUFFS!

Munchkin Masquerade

Halloween is officially 29 days away! Looking to find the perfect costume and lock-in plans for you and yours? Downtown has you covered! Check out our recommendations to a successful (and local-loving) spooky season...


Say yes to the corpse bride dress (and other iconic costumes) at local retailers. We recommend checking out The Ritz, Apocalypse and Ragstock for one-of-a-kind costumes and accessories.


All dressed up with no place to go? Downtown's annual trick-or-treating event, Munchkin Masquerade happens Thursday, October 31st from 3 PM - 6 PM. Bring your kiddos (recommend ages: 12 & under) and stop by participating businesses throughout Pearl Street. Pro Tip: bookmark this page and check back frequently throughout the month for the updated list of participating businesses. Please remember to thank all participating businesses for their kindness in supporting this favorite Halloween tradition!

Ready? Set? Rock The Shelter! All Roads (formerly known as Boulder Shelter for the Homeless) invites you to a special benefit concert happening Thursday, October 17th from 6 PM - 9 PM at eTown Hall. Get your tickets to enjoy an evening full of live music, dancing and socializing all while supporting All Road's mission to provide permanent housing to one of Boulder's most vulnerable populations.
