Breast Cancer Awareness; Prevention is Key
Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women, according to the Centers for Disease Control. According to current statistics, 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime. Although one of the contributing factors is related to age, particularly for women over 50, breast cancer can and does affect women who are younger than that. Although rare in men, breast cancer may affect males as well.
