THIS WEEK AT ..................

St. Pete First UMC

Hi Kelly—

On behalf of St. Pete First UMC I wanted to send a word of hope to everyone this week after Hurricane Helene. We are getting damage assessments in from many. We are here to help. Please let us know what needs you may have and we will work to help coordinate relief. If you need help, you can request assistance here. Additional information on hurricane recovery can be found here.

We are back to our regularly scheduled activities on Sunday. We will meet together in worship for all three services tomorrow and hope you will come join us either in person or online. Our worship services are livestreamed on our websiteYouTube, and Facebook, so feel free to worship with us at home if conditions do not permit you to attend in person.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Bob

The title of Pastor Bob's sermon this week is Be Still and Know. What do you do when the clouds look over you and the outlook doesn’t seem so good? It’s in those moments we all can take stock in knowing, regardless of the sized storm, God is near. Psalm 46 is a great reminder that our loving God is our refuge and strength; our ever present help in time of need. No matter how rough the storms may feel, God will get you through!

The text for this week is Psalm 46 NLT.
