Dear Prince Families:

Please encourage your students to dress up in the theme of the day this week as we enjoy Spirit Week! We want all our families to come to Thursday night’s block party and Wolverine Growl (pep rally) and consider coming back to campus Friday morning for a few laughs watching our student-led homecoming “parade.” Come cheer on our Wolverine football team this Friday night as they play against Hart County High School, and see a wholesome, hometown-America homecoming court presentation. These will be great memories for school year 2024-2025, and we hope you will make them with us!

Prince on the Green: “Happy Fall Y’all” will be held on

Monday, September 30th from 3:30 – 7:30 pm.  



This school-wide event is hosted by the Development Office

and will celebrate this year’s Annual Fund.

The fun and exciting carnival-like atmosphere of Prince on the Green is for all ages and will feature rides and a live DJ while Prince families gather on the lawn for family fun.

• Please note our new location! Families should enter through the double gates across from the middle school building.
• Guests are invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the fun!
• Dinner will be available for purchase from Maepole, Baddies Burgers, and Chick-fil-A food trucks.

This wonderful event promotes unity as a school and builds excitement for our fundraising efforts. Invitations/Tickets will be coming home with students the week of September 16th. Families can donate by bringing their donation tickets to the event or through our online donation page at the link below.

It is time for another season of Prince Youth Basketball!

Basketball season is upon us, and youth basketball registration is open for 3rd - 6th grade boys and girls through Monday, September 30^th.

• Experienced players will compete in the highly competitive Athens Premier League (boys) and Northeast Georgia Feeder League (girls). Each of these leagues is very competitive against other local schools, many of which hold tryouts for their teams. Players with little to no basketball experience are encouraged to play recreational basketball first before participating in this league.
• Roster space is limited per grade.
• All activity fees will be billed to your FACTS account.
• We need coaches for each grade level. Please email jdpowell@princeave.org for more information.
• Boys teams will be split into an “A-team” and a “B-team” per league competition guidelines.

There will be an interest meeting for all middle and high school boys and girls interested in playing golf in the spring:

At least one parent should attend with each player. 

All students in PreK-3 through 12th grades

are encouraged to participate.

Important Spirit Week Reminders:

• Be creative, but please stick to the theme.
• Students who do not dress according to the theme must wear regular school uniforms.
• Students who are not dressed appropriately and modestly will be required to change.
• Absolutely NO short shorts or strapless dresses.
• Leggings or tights must have shorts worn over them.
• As always, remember the "too rule" - not too tight, not too loose, not too long, and not too short!
