OHES Halloween Parade Info
On Friday, October 29th, OHES students will take part in one of two scheduled Halloween parades (10:40 am or 2:30 pm).

Please CLICK HERE for AM or PM class assignments.

Parents are invited to watch the parade outside along the bus lane adjacent to Orchard Road. Please keep in mind the following:

  • All parents coming to watch the parade must park in the main parking lot, underneath the solar panels.
  • Parents are allowed to view the parade from either side of the bus lane.
  • The school does request parents to wear a mask/face covering during the parade.
  • In the event of inclement weather, the parade will be cancelled and only classroom parties will take place. Only the parents who have confirmed their assistance with these parties via the classroom teacher will be permitted into the building.
  • Costumes can be worn to school at the beginning of the day or brought with the student to change into at some point.
  • Alternate activities will be prepared for those students that do not celebrate the holiday.

PLEASE REMEMBER: All questions should be directed to your student's OHES classroom teacher(s).
Ribbon Tying OHES Pillars: Volunteers Needed!
Hi Parents and Caregivers, would you like to participate in changing the ribbons at the OHES pillars?

The OHES pillars will display a new ribbon every month from October-March, based on the Character trait the school plans to talk about in that month from their social and emotional learning curriculum. For instance, as you might have noticed from spirit week, October was the month of RESPECT and the PTA put up yellow ribbons for the same.

For 10-15 minutes of your time you can learn the secret of how to keep those ribbons glued to the pillars no matter the weather!

Please email Muneera.shabbir@gmail.com to learn more.
