Dr. Simonetti guides us through the fundamentals of lethal means safety, why itโ€™s important, and provides suggestions on how to ensure that conversations about lethal means safety are Veteran-centered.

Lynn Keane is an author and former broadcast journalist. Since the sudden passing of her son Daniel in 2009, she has dedicated her life to sharing her familyโ€™s story, educating about the underlying causes of depression and the importance of treating mental illness. At the heart of Lynnโ€™s work is a belief that talking about mental illness can reduce stigma and save lives โ€“ especially our youth.
Community Group
Samaritans works to prevent suicide and support those who have lost someone to suicide. Each year, 300+ volunteers answer more than 80,000 calls, texts, and chats on our Helpline.
