As the second and final Disaster Response camp closes in Fort Myers, FL, we give all glory and praise to God for the work that has been done through His many servants! Both physical labor and financial donations have brought the people of southwest Florida through the trying times following the storms.

  • $240,000 was given to congregations in grants*
  • $490,000 was given to workers in grants thus far*
  • $77,000 was given by Synod as a grant
  • Over $15,000 in gift cards was donated
  • Nearly 400 families experienced the Lord’s goodness.

*Half of each amount was matched by a grant from LCMS–Disaster Response

Helping the hurting amid disaster… your financial donations, your time spent at disaster camps, and your donations of goods have all demonstrated God’s presence and provision! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Help Church Workers Focus on Ministry

MinistryFOCUS recognizes that individuals often assume educational loans in order to serve the Lord and that, for some, such loans often distract from or even undermine their very purpose. As such, MinistryFOCUS has established a loan repayment assistance program (LRAP) so that these servants of the Lord can focus more on ministry and less on money.

Individuals who meet the following criteria are eligible for MinistryFOCUS LRAP grants:
• Currently serving as a rostered church worker of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod;
• Carrying at least $20,000 in educational loans.

Online applications are due by December 31, 2022.
