OVER 60 MILLION WEARABLE, FITNESS TRACKING RECORDS EXPOSED VIA UNSECURED DATABASE
Over 61 million records were contained in a database that was not password protected. The data repository, including vast swathes of user information, some of which could be considered sensitive, such as their names, dates of birth, weight, height, gender, and GPS logs, among other datasets. 
HOW WALGREENS' SLOPPY COVID-19 TEST REGISTRATION SYSTEM EXPOSED PATIENT DATA
A consultant with Interstitial Technology PBC who first discovered the potential data leak, said that he didn’t think Walgreens’ fix was good enough. He would prefer a more secure verification method, like a password, and noted that the application programming interface (API), which allows Walgreens and its advertisers to communicate with each other and exchange data, remains active.

61 MILLION RECORDS BREACHED
August list containing 84 incidents accounting for 60,865,828 breached records. The T-Mobile network disclosed a hack earlier this month, which it originally said affected 7.8 million customers and 40 million records. However, a week later it bumped up that figure to 53 million.
