Phases II & III Tables, Chairs, & Umbrellas - they're here!

New seating for Magnolia Village just in time for the holiday season - thank you, donors
Kudos and Appreciation to Magnolia Garden Center

Summers 2020 and 2021 in Magnolia Village were incredibly bountiful and beautiful thanks to Magnolia Garden Center. In 2020 and this last May, owners Chuck and Margaret Flaherty donated the stunning flowers. In addition, they volunteered members of their hardworking crew, providing both the equipment and “person power” to install the flowering baskets on the decorative poles dotting West McGraw from 32nd Avenue West to 35th Avenue West.

Now that autumn is full swing, Magnolia Garden Center volunteered once again and took down the baskets on September 30th - and in the pouring down rain! More Magnolia Beatification Committee volunteers gathered on Saturday, October 2nd and mounted the beautiful Fall banners to welcome the harvest season in Magnolia.

Thank you to Chuck, Margaret, and Magnolia Garden Center for your donations, volunteerism, and steadfast support for beautification of Magnolia Village. We appreciate all you do and how you do it!
New Tables, Chairs, and Umbrellas have Arrived - YES!

Excitement reigns and a big thank you to all our donors! The new tables, chairs, and umbrellas for Phases II & III of the Reimagine Magnolia Village project have arrived. The new benches will be delivered by the end of October and with installation will complete two more phases of the streetscape improvement project.

Supply chain issues held up the delivery of the new seating that will be located on West McGraw between 33rd and 35th Avenue West, but the key items are ready for installation starting the week of October 11th. In addition, a fourth chair for each existing Phase I table arrived and have been installed, adding more seating in the Village on West McGraw between 32nd and 33rd Avenue.

The new, additional seats and benches are just in time for the holiday season. We know you join us in looking forward to the new tables being full of neighbors dining outside and enjoying our increasingly vibrant and beautiful Village.

Thank you for your investment in our community. Your support for Phases II & III has made a difference for Magnolia Village and we deeply appreciate the generosity and commitment the improving the neighborhood.
Invest in Phases IV & V - let's finish what we started ....

Planning is underway to complete the final phases IV & V of the Reimagine Magnolia Village project. Please donate today. Without your support, we cannot move forward with the beautification of 33rd and 32nd Avenue West between West Lynn Street and West Smith Street. The final detailed plans and budget will be shared with the community, but the focus will be on installing new decorative poles to display flowering baskets and banners along with new benches and attractive murals to brighten the streetscapes. Tree wells will also be made safer and sidewalks will be repaired. For more information on planning for Phases IV & V, please reach out to Cheryl McQuiston, chair extraordinaire of the Magnolia Beautification Committee: cheryl.aaml@gmail.com.

Please donate here. Thank you!
