Dear CHT Member,

It was great to see so many of you at the CHT Virtual Annual Meeting on January 27th. Please go here to see our 2021 Annual Report and head to our website for a recap of the Annual Meeting. A big welcome to our returning and new Board members!

CHT continues to work towards improving the quality of life of our rental properties. COVID, lack of materials and labor, and other issues have created conditions that senior staff here are prioritizing and looking to improve. Over the past year, an ad hoc committee of CHT rental residents have been meeting to discuss this and make recommendations to the Board. At our Annual Meeting, the membership voted to make this ad hoc committee permanent as the Rental Resident Advisory Committee. We're excited for this committee to continue its important work.

Marketing for Butternut Grove homes in Winooski continues and CHT has received more than 60 inquiries. We do have more homeownership opportunities underway! Watch this space - this is where CHT posts new homes for sale!

Vermont Recovery Day is tomorrow, Feb. 16th. This annual advocacy celebration invites everyone to join and honor the power of substance use disorder recovery. Organized by Recovery Vermont this virtual event is from 9am – 1pm on zoom. CHT is proud to be part of the state’s recovery community working to make recovery housing available. Research consistently demonstrates positive outcomes for individuals and communities when resources like this are available.

Congratulations to CHT’s Pond Hockey Home team (pictured above) for another successful tournament. We actually don’t know how well they did, but we are glad that they represented us so well!

Be safe, stay healthy.
Michael Monte, CEO
