This year has been filled with so much hope thanks to the generosity of our community and this season of giving has been our most impactful yet.

We are thrilled to announce that more than 400 families will have holiday gifts this year thanks to our kind-hearted supporters who are shopping for gifts through the Adopt A Family program. On top of that record-breaking number of families, an additional 2,000+ children will have a memorable holiday thanks to the incredible individuals, businesses, and organizations who hosted drives and donated toys to our Toy Table. We have served more children and families than ever before through these holiday programs and it is all because of you. Thank you for allowing us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these families.

This Saturday, we look forward to a special day at the airport for the 8th Annual Operation Santa Claus. Santa is on the radar to arrive in a C-130 where he and Mrs. Claus will spend the morning with 28 families in an airplane hangar transformed into a winter wonderland to spread holiday cheer. Children will get to take photos with Santa, play games, and enjoy delicious food all while making cherished memories with their families. This incredible day is all made possible by our friends at the Reno Tahoe International Airport, Atlantic Aviation, the Reno Tahoe Aviation Group, and the many airlines, airport vendors, and small plane pilots who adopted families to make this event so special.

Yesterday we celebrated GivingTuesday, a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Your donations help families in extremely challenging situations when they have nowhere else to turn through our Client Emergency Needs Fund. This special fund has helped many families keep their power on, stay in their homes when facing eviction, and bridge the gap with basic needs when unforeseen bills arise. With our guidance and budgeting support, we not only provide families with immediate relief but also the tools they need for a self-sufficient future.

We are so excited to team up with Blitz For A Cause for the 2nd Annual Pop-Up Speakeasy "Step Right Up for the Kids" Event to support the children and families we serve.

This Friday, December 6th at 6:00 PM, guests will have the opportunity to experience a thrilling night of mystery and philanthropy in a secret speakeasy location. In true speakeasy fashion, the location and entry password will be kept under wraps until the day of the event. Guests are encouraged to wear festive holiday cocktail attire and be prepared for a night of fun, entertainment, and giving back to the community. This one-of-a-kind event promises to be an unforgettable evening supporting a cause that truly matters.
