Witter Ranch 4/5th Grade Girls Bring the Energy in First Basketball Game of the Season

Wednesday was a special day for 4th/5th grade girls at Witter Ranch Elementary School as they traveled to Bannon Creek to play their first game of the season. When the season began in early January, there were not enough girls to play and no coach. A few girls joined the boys team but ultimately, the girls were determined to have their own team. Recruitment for more girls began and so did finding a coach! We are thrilled to say that they now have their own team and coach! Special thanks to Teacher Merry Del Rosario for stepping in to make this happen for the girls! We are proud to say that there was great energy and joy in their first game!
