Fusion is happening! But our format will be different this year. Students will go straight to the Sanctuary for our 9:00 am Contemporary service, where we will join our families and the rest of the church in worship. After the second song, an announcement will be made inviting all students in grades 7-12 to go to the Worship & Youth Center for Fusion, where we will have donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and a relevant message from God’s Word. See you on Sunday!

DUMC’s Student Ministries are in need of more volunteer youth leaders for Elevation, our Sunday evening youth group gathering. We meet from 6:00-7:30 pm starting on Sunday, September 18. Elevation consists of food, games, a teaching time, and small group discussions.
In the past, leaders have facilitated the games, facilitated small group discussions, and some have even taught lessons (this is not required, so don’t worry!).
We would obviously love to have leaders committed to being there every week we meet, but we understand how busy life can get. So, if you can’t commit to every week, but can do one or two times a month, we would love to have you!
If you want to come to Elevation and simply observe before making a decision, you are welcome to do that!
If you have any questions and/or if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Pastor Paul: PGeorgulis@DoylestownUMC.com. Thank you!

Financal Update: As of August 31, 2022 |
There was a deficit of ($2K) in August which was much better than expected. Income was much higher than expected due to the receipt of a member’s entire annual giving in August.
Monthly income has declined approximately 25% since the first quarter. YTD, we have an overall cash deficit of ($118,000). We are expecting a $30-40K deficit in September, which will reduce our operating cash even further. Most of the expenses of the church are salaries and

Here's a testimony from one of the participants:
On Wednesday mornings this past spring, we learned how to pray!
So often we ask ourselves, "how do I pray?" Sometimes we don’t pray because we are afraid it won’t be what God wants to hear.

"Don't Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table"
by Louie Giglio
We've all been in circumstances that cause our minds to spin with thoughts that are unproductive, destructive, and harmful. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and wonder why we keep falling into the same thought patterns. We need to recognize these thoughts are not from God, but from an enemy lurking who wants to seize every opportunity to lie his way into our minds. Let's restore peace and rest in our lives by taking authority over our thoughts. "God prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies." Ps 23:5
