SCRC'S Caregiver of the Month Spotlight: Irene

Help us celebrate Irene as our SCRC August Caregiver of the Month!

She has been a family caregiver for more than 30 years. Irene cared for her mother who had Alzheimer’s for over 20 years and in the last 15 years she has been caring for her husband with Parkinson’s disease. Irene has had a long caregiving journey and has provided care in every way. She has helped her loved ones with dressing, meal prepping, driving, med administration, mental comfort, and so on. Irene is a hero!

“SCRC has helped me with great resources, education, and support knowing I am not alone.”
