TAKE & MAKE: Moon Phase Calendar

Monday, September 26 - Saturday, October 1

We will be handing out a "take and make" item developed by the educational division of NASA: a 2022 Moon Phases Calendar. Create your own device to show you what phase the moon will be at throughout 2022! Stop by the library to get yours (while supplies last). For All Ages.

Classical Guitar Recital by Carlos Pavan

Join us for a guitar recital by Carlos Pavan, who will be playing for us live from his studio in New York City. Carlos is an Argentine composer who blends tango and folklore rhythms with jazz harmonies and classical technique. He'll also share stories and anecdotes about his culture, playing guitar, and composing music. For all ages.

Dungeons & Dragons Gaming at Prosser

By request, BPL is starting its first Dungeon & Dragons gaming club for teens in grades 7-12! In partnership with the crew from Tabletop Gaming Center (Newington, CT), this D&D club is perfect for beginners and any teens looking to expand their gameplay to another group.

Needle Keepers at McMahon Wintonbury

September is National Sewing Month! Instructor Dawn Zillich, The Stitching Coach, will guide patrons through the process of hand stitching a needle case. Whether you have sewn for ages or are a beginner who wants to learn, this is a fun project for ages 8 and up. For Tweens, Teens, and Adults.

Invasive Species Workshop at Hawk Hill Farm

Saturday, October 1 at 10AM

Join your fellow residents in tackling some invasive plants at Hawk Hill Farm (22 Duncaster Rd), a Wintonbury Land Trust site. You will walk away feeling confident in knowing how to identify and remove some of these harmful plants taking over our backyards and natural spaces while getting social and physical exercise. For Adults.

International Observe the Moon Night 2022! at the Town Green

Saturday, October 1 at 7:30PM

We'll gather across the street from Prosser Library on the Town Green to look at the moon through high-powered binoculars and a telescope. There will be snacks, glow necklaces, and more! Perfect for all ages. This event is weather permitting - there will be no rain date.
