E-Learning and inclement weather days
Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools (PLSAS) offers E-Learning Days to provide an opportunity for students to learn from home when our schools close due to weather. Our first inclement weather day of the school year will NOT be an E-Learning Day. The first school cancellation due to weather will remain a traditional cancellation as in the past. Should there be additional inclement weather days, an E-Learning Day will be called.

Note: When E-Learning Days are called, PLSAS early childhood staff may offer families and students optional E-Learning story time, and other activities through Seesaw for all classes. Provisions may be made for students with IEPs or 504 plans, per the individual student plan.

MN Safe Learning Survey
In an effort to provide a picture of the landscape in education across Minnesota this school year, the University of Minnesota is working with the Minnesota Department of Education to gather information from educators, students (grades 6-12), and families regarding their experiences. This anonymous survey is being administered at three different times this year: February, May, and October 2021. Please consider taking 5 minutes to respond. Data will be reported publicly at a state level, and school Districts will receive local information to compare against the statewide data. We know that surveys do not solve problems, but your input can help identify potential solutions moving forward. Thank you for your consideration in taking this survey by November 24: click here
