Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project Update


Phase 3 of the Sea Pines Drive infrastructure repair project is scheduled to begin next week with an estimated completion time of Spring 2023. To learn more about Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the project please click here.

  • Well-pointing and dewatering operations (lowering groundwater levels to provide more stable working conditions) on Red Cardinal Road began this week and will continue through Friday.


  • Drainage installation is scheduled to begin Monday, September 19th, weather permitting.


  • Pedestrian access from Sea Pines Drive to Beachwalk #39 (between Red Cardinal Road and Whistling Swan Road) will be closed beginning the week of September 19th. 


  • Work will be performed Monday - Friday from 7 am - 6 pm. Flag persons will be present to control traffic, as needed.


  • Due to recent inclement weather, the start date for roadway resurfacing on Sandhill Crane Road has been delayed. Updated schedule to be announced.



  • Please observe and obey all traffic management personnel, signage, and devices.

Beach Lagoon Pedestrian Timber Bridge Replacement In Progress


Sea Pines CSA contractors have completed demolition of the old bridge and construction of the new bridge began this week. Project work will take approximately 3-4 more weeks, weather permitting. During this time, pedestrians will need to use the detour to Beachwalk 35A as the bridge will not be available for use. Click here to view the detour map.

The speed limit in Sea Pines is 25 MPH unless otherwise posted. Please be aware of bikers and pedestrians. As a reminder, Sea Pines Security officers are on patrol 24-hours per day.

Sea Pines CSA Staff Respond to Community Wide Storm Cleanup


Sea Pines CSA teams have been working throughout the community to facilitate clean-up and restoration from recent storms and heavy rain.

Andrew Coleman and Jacolby Grant raking debris out of ditch on Heritage Court to improve water flow.

Live Oak fell across North Sea Pines Drive due to heavy rains. Sea Pines CSA's tree contractor assisted with tree removal.

Sea Pines CSA Mosquito Treatment


Our next mosquito treatment will take place on Monday, September 19th during overnight hours, weather permitting.

Stormwater Maintenance

 

Line jetting in various areas around the community will continue the week of September 19th, weather permitting. This process cleans sediment from drainage pipes to improve flow.

Tree Care Management


Tree trimming in various locations around the community will continue through the week of September 19th, weather permitting.

Asphalt Repairs


Due to weather delays, asphalt repairs will continue the week of September 19th along the roads listed below, weather permitting. Sea Pines CSA's contractor will have flagmen present to control traffic, as needed.

Land Use Rules and Regulations Property Appearance Reminders

  • Trash cans and recycling bins shall be kept in service yards at all times. Curbside trash pickup is not provided in Sea Pines.
  • Lawns shall be routinely cut and maintained to ensure grass height of 6 inches or less. Bushes shall be trimmed to maintain a neat appearance. Trees and palms shall be maintained in a manner to maintain a neat appearance. Bedded areas shall be kept clear of overgrowth. Vines shall be removed that threaten to encroach onto abutting properties, including CSA open space.

South Island Public Service District Potable Drinking Water Pipeline Upgrade Project

SIPSD, the utility company providing water and wastewater services in Sea Pines, will undertake a major infrastructure upgrade and replacement project to their potable water drinking line from Dunnagans Alley to Baynard Park Road, inside of Sea Pines. Click here to learn more about the project.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve Advisory Board Member Application Available

 

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve is one of the most significant amenities available to our property owners and guests in our community. The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation is responsible for the management and oversight of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.

 

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Advisory Board consists of Sea Pines property owners that provide advice on matters concerning and expanding on the use, maintenance and potential improvements to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve. If you are interested in serving on the Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation Advisory Board, you may apply by completing an application which can be found here
