Happy Birthday Baily M. Smith

Hi everybody! My name is Bailey M. Smith. I was “born on a mountain top in Tennessee, the greenest state in the land of the free” on November 11, 2007. Today is my 17th birthday.

He calls me Ringo, but my friends all call me Binky. (He says it has something to do with the movie “Best in Show”). I’ve lost my sight and hearing but I can smell you a mile away. My goals for this year are to “make Yorkies great again”!

Happy Endings!

Kele was adopted and is loving her new home Tennessee too!.
Sissy has fallen into the arms of love and absolutely loving her new home and human little sister Ava in Tennessee

Cooper was adopted in Tennessee by a lovely couple who plan to train him as a "night watch dog" in their home!

TOBY finds his forever home

Toby is a snuggle puppy, there is nothing he would rather do than lie on his back in your lap and have you give him belly rubs. He found his forever home with this adorable little boy and his Dad. Wishing them the best of everything.

Did You Know....

A few fun facts about Yorkie's

Yorkie's were originally developed during the mid 1800's in the county of Yorkshire in Northern England after Scottish Weavers brought along their own Scottish Terriers to live with them and work as ratters in their shops and factories. It is suspected that the Maltese was added to the mix to make the breed smaller along with the Clydesdale terrier, a now extinct Scottish breed that gave the Yorkshire Terrier its long lustrous coat. Shown along with the other terrier breeds the Yorkshire Terrier was recognized as a separate breed by the Kennel club in 1886. This recognition helped the Yorkie transition from a working class breed to a lapdog favorite of Victorian Ladies, which contributed to the smaller size of the breed we see today.
