November 2021 Speaker
A Bigger Investment Mindset

November 10, 2021
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Speaker: Jeff Shafer, Chief Executive Officer for CommmonGood Capital and CommonGood Securities

As evidenced by Larry Fink's 5 most recent CEO newsletters, the largest asset manager in the world is championing a bigger investment mindset. Investing has been about risk, reward, returns, and meeting financial goals. Today, more and more investors are also considering their values and passions, with the use of their investment capital, to help create solutions to huge solvable problems while benefiting from the opportunities.

This is not a new trend, but it has seen significant momentum recently. Come learn about the history of this trend, as well as some of the forces pushing this forward.

Our speaker will be Jeff Shafer, Chief Executive Officer for CommmonGood Capital and CommonGood Securities. CommonGood Securities is a boutique impact investment firm that has invested more than $57 million in impact and values-aligned private investments across affordable/workforce housing, mobile home communities, renewable energy, emerging market private credit, climate smart forestry, and US private credit. Mr. Shafer has more than 25 years of experience, primarily in financial services industry Senior Executive roles.
