Welcome to Our New Forage Fellows, Emily Hall and Nikki Stinson

The Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education is pleased to announce the selection of two outstanding individuals as Paul Forage Fellows for the upcoming academic year: Emily Hall and Nikki Stinson. This fellowship program, which provides a unique opportunity for emerging leaders in peacebuilding and humanitarian work, is made possible by a generous donation from Karl Forage, the father of our founder Paul Forage and Sarah Forage-Lough, a member of our board. We are deeply grateful for his support in honoring Paul’s legacy and commitment to humanitarian education.

The Paul Forage Fellows Program is a nine-month remote fellowship designed to empower students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in peacebuilding and humanitarian work. Fellows work closely with mentors and the Forage Center team on key initiatives that align with their skills and interests.

Staff Updates

New Board Member and Staff Promotion

We are thrilled to welcome Sarah Doerrer, Ed.D., as a new member of the Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education's Board of Directors. Sarah, a 2019 graduate from Loyola Marymount University's Educational Leadership for Social Justice doctoral program, brings a wealth of experience in peace education and nonprofit leadership.

In addition, Heather Payne has been promoted to program and administrative manager. Most recently, Heather served as co-exercise director of our July field exercise.

Past Forage Fellows Promoted to Program Specialists

The Forage Center is proud to offer our past Paul Forage Fellows the opportunity to continue their work by transitioning into program specialist roles. As Paul Forage believed in fostering lasting relationships with his students, we are dedicated to providing former fellows with ongoing opportunities to contribute to humanitarian education. We are glad to have Joshua Price, Naomi Davis, Katreena Blazewicz and Chenqi Shi as program specialists!
