GVBL Tournament Teams are for players who want to learn and enjoy the game of basketball at a higher competitive level. With more exposure, tournament team play enhances the opportunity to play at the junior high and high school level.

The season generally begins at the end of October and runs for 12 months. GVBL has tournament teams for boys/girls grades 4-8.

  • Interested players must be current GVBL players and live with GVSD boundaries.
  • All returning Tournament Team players must sign up and tryout
  • Players are not permitted to 'play up' a grade level.
  • The registration fee is $15 per player.

Flag Cheer for Gr. K-2

Flag Cheer has tripled in size since last year! With 28 cheerleaders so far, we are ready to cheer on the Flag Football teams!

Our GVCO Caring Hands student volunteers spent a couple of hours raking, shoveling, and hauling rocks from the field space next to the GVCO Community Center. They were preparing the field as it will be seeded this fall, so we will have a nice green field for our spring programming.

Learn more about Caring Hands. Volunteer as much as you'd like.

SHOUTOUT TO OUR SPONSORS

As always, we had tremendous local support for what we are trying to accomplish with our GVBL winter rec league. Without this assistance, there would be a financial shortfall for equipment, administration and facilities rental. GVBL would like to thank all those who have stepped up to support GVBL. In addition, as always please try and support these local businesses throughout the year, shopping and doing business right here at home
