What is the Home & School Association Board?



The Home & School Association Board is made up of volunteers who are working or stay at home parents of children enrolled at St. George Catholic School. Our goal is to encourage a channel of communication and interchange among parents, teachers and the administrative staff while supporting the school through planned activities, social functions and fundraisers. Some of the activities and events we coordinate include Grandparent's Day, Teacher Appreciation Week and Spirit Day. As a team, we enjoy helping our school and having the opportunities to meet new parents. The following positions (and job descriptions from our by-laws) are open for the 2023-24 school year:


Treasurer position will hold a three-year term. Treasurer shall receive and disburse all monies of the organization. He/she shall keep accurate and complete books according to acceptable business practices; shall pay all bills approved by the board of Directors; shall make a financial report at each meeting and shall present a written annual financial report published prior to the last general membership meeting of each year. He/she shall have available all records for review upon request of the Board of Directors, School Administration and Pastor. You do not have to be a CPA or Accountant to be Treasurer. (2) Assistant Special Events Coordinator positions shall assist the Special Event Coordinators in all capacities for one year and assume office as Special Event Coordinator the following year. Special Events Coordinators and Assistants plan and coordinate events throughout the year such as Grandparents Day and Teacher Appreciation. These coordinators will work with the Board and Administration to plan any other special events throughout the year. Assistant Volunteer Coordinator shall assist the Volunteer Coordinator in all capacities for one year and assume the office of Volunteer Coordinator the following year. The Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Volunteer Coordinator assign room parents for each grade. He/she shall facilitate volunteer assignments and shall inform room parents of their duties by a folder which shall be revised yearly. School Advisory Committee (SAC) Representative attends School Advisory Committee meetings as a representative for Home and School throughout the year. Also, assists with activities sponsored by Home & School such as Grandparents Day, Teacher Appreciation, and Spirit Day. In the event there are several candidates for each position, each candidate will be notified and listed on a ballot for the members of Home & School (all parents) to vote.

Bus Rider Form for 2023-2024 Bus Service

Parents who want their SGS student to receive bus service for next school year must complete and submit a Google form for each SGS student in the family. Below, please find the link to the Google form as well as important information to assist you in completing the form.



  • Google form (to opt in for bus service)
  • SCHOOL_BUILDING_CODE: 502020
  • Student ID: Not a Mandatory Field. The Student ID can be found on your postcard received from EBR Transportation before school started in 2022.
  • Grade Level Codes: Use next year grade (ex. -1 = PreK | 00 = K | 01= 1st, etc. )
  • Ethnicity Codes:
  • B – Black
  • I – Indian
  • N – Not Hispanic / Latino
  • O – Other
  • S – Asian
  • W – White
  • X – Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander


The deadline to opt in for bus service by completing the Google form is Friday, May 12, 2023

IMPORTANT END-OF-YEAR NOTES


  1. Last day to pay with a check to bring all accounts current is Friday, May 5th. 
  2. No checks will be accepted after that date.
  3. All accounts need to be in the positive before the end of school.
  4. Deadline to submit a Request for Refund form for any cafeteria money that needs to be refunded for graduating 8th graders or students not returning next year is Friday, May 12th. 
  5. Payments can still be paid with the MySchoolBucks app.
